ABOUT THE COFFEEHOUSE

A coffee cup next to a musical note with the words Classical Coffeehouse.

Designed especially for students, but open to everyone, Classical Coffeehouse is an opportunity to experience chamber music in an unconventional way. Three Classical Coffeehouses are scheduled for the fourth season of the Classical Music Project. The Center for the Performing Arts is partnering with various Penn State units and student organizations to expand the audience for classical music. Each Classical Coffeehouse includes a mini-performance, discussions among artists and audience members, and social time with the musicians and others in attendance. Enjoy music, camaraderie, and refreshments in a casual atmosphere.
